The Green Man

The Green Man holds the distinction of being the Northeast Kingdom's first CCB-licensed adult-use cannabis retailer — the shop opened October 15, 2022 at 1998 Memorial Drive Suite 12 in St. Johnsbury, establishing Vermont's pioneer cannabis presence in Caledonia County.

Owner Zeb Overton brings more than 20 years of experience as a legacy grower. He also operates Overton's View Farm, a family-run cultivation operation with a 1,000-square-foot indoor facility and an outdoor grow of up to 120 plants — giving The Green Man a genuine farm-connected identity rooted in the Northeast Kingdom's agricultural heritage.

Hours: Monday through Wednesday 10 AM–6 PM, Thursday and Friday 10 AM–7 PM, Saturday 10 AM–5 PM, Sunday 10 AM–4:20 PM. The Sunday hours make The Green Man the only St. Johnsbury dispensary open on Sunday — an important planning note for weekend visitors. The shop is located on Memorial Drive in St. Johnsbury's north-side commercial strip, across from the Green Mountain Mall area. Vermont's base cannabis tax is 14% excise plus 6% sales — 20% total. St. Johnsbury has not adopted a local option cannabis tax as of mid-2026; confirm at time of purchase.
