Clementine
Tangie × Lemon Skunk by Crockett Family Farms — the Terpinolene-dominant sativa bridge between Tangie and Mimosa, with a layered orange-and-lemon citrus aroma and a 2015 High Times Cannabis Cup win for best sativa concentrate.
Clementine is a sativa-dominant hybrid bred by David Crockett of Crockett Family Farms (Central Coast, CA) — the same breeder behind Tangie — by crossing Tangie with Lemon Skunk, a DNA Genetics strain developed from two lemon-expressing Skunk phenotypes. The cross takes Tangie's tangerine character and adds Lemon Skunk's sharper, crisper lemon note, producing an aroma that resembles a clementine orange: sweeter and more complex than a single citrus type, with a fresh lemon-zest edge layered over mandarin warmth.
Terpenes (Leafly): Terpinolene-dominant, followed by Myrcene and Pinene. Despite the Lemon Skunk cross — which might suggest a Limonene shift — Clementine remains Terpinolene-dominant like its Tangie parent. Terpinolene drives the characteristic fresh-citrus character; Myrcene adds earthy depth; Pinene contributes a faint crispness. Effects: Focused, Energetic, Uplifted (Leafly) — a textbook daytime sativa, clear-headed and mood-elevating without meaningful body sedation.
Clementine's most consequential contribution to the Vermont cannabis catalog is as Mimosa's parent. Symbiotic Genetics crossed Clementine with Purple Punch to produce Mimosa — the orange-zest-and-citrus breakfast sativa now found on Vermont dispensary menus year-round. When you smell Mimosa's characteristic tangerine-citrus opening, you're smelling Clementine's Terpinolene two generations from Tangie.
Clementine's live resin won 1st Place for Best Sativa Concentrate at the 2015 High Times Medical Cannabis Cup Michigan. THC: 18–22% retail. Vermont availability: Theory Wellness carries it seasonally; less commonly stocked than its offspring.
