Lake Effect Cannabis

Lake Effect Cannabis is the only adult-use dispensary on the Champlain Islands, serving South Hero, Grand Isle, North Hero, and Alburgh. Located at 6 South Street just off Route 2, the shop is a natural stop for visitors doing the island loop — beach days at Knight Point, cycling, or the Alburgh-to-South Hero route.

The menu covers flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, beverages, topicals, tinctures, and CBD items. Because the Islands have fewer retail options than mainland Chittenden County, Lake Effect's selection has to be broad enough to serve both local residents and tourists, and they execute that balance well.

About 25 minutes from Burlington via the Sandbar Causeway (Route 2). Hours are 10 AM–6 PM Monday through Saturday and 10 AM–4 PM Sunday.
