The Soap
Minntz (Seed Junky × Berner) cross of Animal Mints × Kush Mints — the lightest and most sativa-leaning member of the Kush Mints family, named for its unmistakable lavender-mint-honeysuckle soap aroma.
The Soap was released under the Minntz brand — a collaboration between Seed Junky Genetics (JBeezy) and Berner's Cookies Fam — around 2018. The cross is Animal Mints × Kush Mints, which makes it a second-generation Seed Junky inbreed: Kush Mints itself is Animal Mints × Bubba Kush, so Animal Mints appears on both sides of the pedigree.
The name is literal: The Soap smells like artisanal hand soap — a clean, perfumed combination of mint, pine, rose, lavender, and honeysuckle that is genuinely distinctive and unlike any other strain in the Kush Mints family. The dominant terpene is Caryophyllene, followed by Limonene; Linalool appears in some panels and contributes to the floral-lavender note.
Despite heavy indica parents, The Soap expresses notably more sativa-leaning than its siblings (LA Kush Cake, Cap Junky, Gush Mints, Jealousy Mintz). Effects open with clear, focused euphoria and mild energizing uplift, followed by body ease without couch-lock at moderate doses. Afternoon to early-evening use.
