Sundae Driver was bred by Cannarado Genetics (Colorado) around 2018 from Fruity Pebbles OG (FPOG) × Grape Pie. Both parents carry Granddaddy Purple genetics — FPOG through Green Ribbon × GDP × Tahoe Alien by Alien Genetics; Grape Pie through Cherry Pie (GDP × Durban Poison) × Grape Stomper. The double GDP lineage produces Sundae Driver's intensely grape-forward aroma.

The aroma is creamy grape candy with vanilla-cream softening and a subtle gas undertone from FPOG's resin base. Terpenes: Caryophyllene and Limonene co-dominant (batch-dependent which leads); Myrcene significant third. THC 18–24% typical at Vermont dispensaries.

Effects: mood-lifting and euphoric at onset, transitioning to relaxed body ease. Not aggressively sedating — appropriate for afternoon to early evening. Recognized by High Times as one of the best strains of 2018. Note: also commonly labeled 'Sunday Driver' at dispensaries — this is an alternate spelling for the same Cannarado FPOG × Grape Pie cross.
