About Mountain Girl Cannabis
Mountain Girl Cannabis at 174 West Street holds a piece of Vermont history: it was the first dispensary licensed for adult-use recreational retail in the state, carrying license number RTLR0001. The shop opened when Vermont's adult-use market launched in October 2022 and remains a downtown Rutland fixture a few doors from Little Amsterdam on West Street.
The approach is boutique and hands-on. Mountain Girl leans on personalized, one-on-one service — staff described as "wellness guides" — and a curated selection of Vermont craft cannabis: flower, pre-rolls, vape carts, edibles, concentrates, and topicals. Midweek hours run longest, with a 9:00 AM open and 8:00 PM close Wednesday through Friday.
Hours: Monday–Tuesday 10:00 AM–6:00 PM; Wednesday–Friday 9:00 AM–8:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM–7:00 PM; Sunday 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. Phone: (802) 353-0034. Website: mountaingirlcannabis.com.
